Hi everybody! It's day 8 of the 31 day challenge and I'm still going strong. Yes, I've been taking it pretty easy for the first themes and yes, the color portion of the challenge is easier (depending on how you interpret the themes) than the rest but whatever.
I had planned a mani for this day but decided to post a different mani because it's so gorgeous and it unintentionally fell into the metallic category! YES! I posted these nails on instagram recently and everyone really liked them so I hope you do too! It's soooo easy to do (if you have the right stamping plate) and it looks amazing in my opinion.
I started with 1 coat the best black I've come across, LVX - Livid, then layered one coat of Ulta Professional - 14 Carat (14 carat shown along on my sad little nubs) which reminded me of antique gold/vintage gold (do you know what I'm talking about?). This combo alone I like but I did have some issues with application. Is it just me or is it hard to layer a sheer (ex. duochrome) over black without it streaking?? Anyway, because it was a little streaky I decided I was going to put something over it. I finally did an intricate stamp using my large cheek plate (and LVX - Livid) . I love this so much!
What do you think of this intricate stamp? Did you see it on instagram already?
