31DC2012 - Day 2 (Orange)

Hi everyone! Today I have two posts for you, the first one being the second day of The 31 Day Challenge, and the second post you'll see what I came up with for the first day/week of the Girly Girl Nail Art Challenge. And, if I have time I'll try and post my weekly instagram photos but I can't promise :(

Okay so today's theme is Orange, a color I don't have many bottles of. In fact, I used to hate it until just recently (I'm still super picky about it) so I only have 1 true orange. I didn't feel like using it though so instead I used a kind of orange lol. Kind of because it's more of a peach than an orange but whatever they're both in the fruit family!

I started with 3 coats of Ulta - Oh! which is a pretty peach with tons of gorgeous gold shimmer. I then added some thing gold tips to bring out the shimmer in Oh! with Darling Diva Polish - Stripper Pole which is a gorgeous linear holo with hold hexes which you can see clung onto my tips. Also you can probably see a little in the pictures where my real VNL is. I like to pretend I have longer nail beds that I actually do, whatever.

Not my favorite mani but it was pretty! What do you think? Are you a fan of funky french manis?
