Tough As Nails Lacquer - It's All Over Now Review

Hello, helloooo! As you might've guessed I jumped on the indie wagon quite some time ago and haven't looked back. I can't believe how many amazing handmade polish brands there are that just haven't been "discovered" yet! Today, I'm bringing you another awesome Etsy polish seller/maker, Tough as Nails Lacquer! I received two polishes from Elizabeth and today I'm going to show you, It's All Over Now.

It's All Over Now was instantly a winner to me when I saw the pictures in the listing. It's a polish with a milky grey jelly base and a gorgeous array of glitters including blue, lavender, white, and purple in all different sizes and shapes. This one is opaque in about 3 coats; this is 2 coats of TC (a regular fast drying, not Gelous or Seche Vite which I would recommend to smooth down the glitters better). Here's Elizabeth's description, "It's All Over Now is a loner, known for being somewhat of an enigma, and is drawn to photographing skyscrapers in the rain."
Here is It's All Over Now layered over Pomegranate Lacquer - Dreamscape (a sheer-er light pink). This is 1 coat over Dreamscape. I really, really, really like this layered! It's a bit smoother due to less coats of glitter and it just looks so delicate and pretty! 1 generous coat of TC.

Overall, I really like the glitter mixture and just combination of colors in this polish! I also like how it's versatile, you can wear it on it's own or layered!

Would I buy it? Yes, I love jelly bases, especially milky ones, so this one is just heavenly. Plus, the mixture of glitter is so beautiful!

Where is it sold? You can buy Tough As Nails Lacquer at the Tough As Nails Lacquer shop on Etsy for $5.50 to $9.00 ($5 for minis 7ml, $9 for full size 15ml!).

Additional Information: Elizabeth also has a blog for her brand, as well as some great swatches on there, and a facebook page! I also really love her labels on the actual polishes, they identify the brand, name of the polish, size and on the adjacent side it says, 3 free, shake well, and Tough As Nails address. Also, you can find a list of the polishes ingredients on the listing which can be extremely helpful!

What do you think of this polish? Do you prefer it layered or on it's own? Would you buy it?

- xoxo Alexis Leigh
