LVX Summer 2012 Collection - Review & Swatches

Hi everyone! Today I'm super excited to show you a new brand and collection I recently discovered, LVX. If you want to know more about them, I posted a press release for their Summer 2012 Collection which you can visit, HERE or visit their "About" page on their website.
There are 6 colors in total and all of them are so gorgeous. First, a little info about the brand, I'll keep it brief. LVX, pulls all of their inspiration and colors as well from runway trends. I talked a little about this in the press release but I'll say it again, I love this unique idea becaue most woman can't afford to keep up with fashion trends. Just recently nail polish is becoming a huge accessory in everyday woman's (and even some men!) lives. Nail polish is a great way to express yourself and now add a little bit of trend to your finger tips, easy, quick, and affordable!

First up is Avireo. You're probably not going to believe me but guys, this is a 1 coater; a 1 coater! Seriously there was no streaking, no bald spots, nothing! I know, crazy but true. The perfect khaki green, I am in love with this shade. It's not something you'd usually think when you hear summer but that's essentially why I love this brand, they're unique. I do want to mention that there is streaking in the bottle (it actually looks really pretty to me, like marble!) because this color is so amazingly pigmented! Heavy pigmentation in polish is definitely not a problem in my book! However, if the streaking does annoy you, just give the bottle a few extra rolls! ;)

Now, onto the lovely Callais. This is a beautiful light blue that took only 2 generous coats to become opaque. This is such a bright and vibrant blue yet still somehow calming. I adore this with my skin tone; I also think it would look amazing on darker skin. By the way, the little application problem on my pinky was my fault, not the polish's!

Ecru is a peachy nude that is seriously so pigmented it only took 2 easy coats to reach opacity. I've been dying over nude nails lately.

I probably should've saved this shocking shade for last. Livid is the perfect black; at only 1 (generous) coat, this is definitely my new go to black. There's just something so chic about black nails.

Primrose, I love the name. This is a pretty yellow that takes 3 super easy coats to reach full opacity. One of LVX's suggestions is to pair it with nude, love that combination.

Last is Vermillion, for sure one of my favorites! A fabulous red-orange jelly I want to say. It's so freaking shiny! Ahh I just love this shade! There's just the tiniest bit of VNL but that wasn't evident in reality. 2 totally non-streaky coats.

Overall, I've fallen so deeply in love with this brand and their Summer 2012 Collection. I'm going to go out on a limb and say they may even be my favorite brand of nail polish right now. Formula was just fantastic on all of these and the colors are so unique and gorgeous. I have no problem recommending this brand to you!

Would I buy them? ALL OF THEM!

Where are they sold? You can buy LVX polishes on their website. Their polishes retail for $16.00 each; fashion does come at a price, however you're paying for a slightly larger, 17ml bottle rather than the usual 15ml.

Additional Information: Their square cap is removable for easy application which I found really cool and very useful. Like I mentioned, these are 17ml bottles, not your average 15ml. 5-free, cruelty free, and made in the US this brand is devoted to creating high quality products. Also, I love their color description and combination recommendations so be sure to check that out on their website!
